Quick summary

Using a block-based theme, the Latest Instagram Posts block doesn't show the preview when changing the number of columns and image spacing. However, on a live page or post, the settings of Latest Instagram Posts block display correctly.

Steps to reproduce

  1. In Themes, search for Block Editor Styles feature:block-editor-styles
  2. Select a theme and activate.
  3. In a page or post, insert Latest Instagram Posts block
  4. Connect to Instagram
  5. Change the number of posts (the amount of posts will adjust and it'll reflect in the editor
  6. Change the number of columns and Image Spacing (px) and it won't show the changes in the editor.

What you expected to happen

When changing the number of columns and image spacing, it'll show in the editor.

What actually happened

Changing the number of columns does not show how it looks in the editor. For image spacing, only when it's 0px, it'll show in the editor. On a live page or post, the settings set on Latest Instagram Posts block display correctly.

Hey @kspilarski ! thank you for reporting this!

I tried to replicate this behavior but I wasn't able to. Could you share the theme(s) used in the process and if you can still replicate this after the recent updates?

Thank you for confirming! It appears this only happens on sites with FSE.
