Attar, Hari, Marl - Download link on theme showcase page returns 404 File not found #5672

Quick summary

31428428-hc User is trying to download the Marl theme. However, the Download button on the theme showcase page links to a 404 File not found page.

The download links on Hari and Attar are also not working.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to the theme showcase page for Marl, Hari or Attar.
  2. Click on the 'Download' button at the bottom of the page.
  3. The page returns a 404 File not found.

What you expected to happen

To download the theme file.

What actually happened

The page returns a 404 File not found error.

User 31428428-hc trying to download the 'Marl' theme, however, the download link is not working.

@rw-ye, thanks for reporting this bug! Triaged as I was able to reproduce this. Three of the new free product-oriented themes: Attar, Hari, Marl, do not have valid download links on the theme showcase overview page. Transferring to themes repo. Workaround - none found as these themes are also not listed on WordPress.org Themes

I manually added the download theme section to Hari, Attar, Marl, Dorna, and Winkel. The issue now though, is that we have two download links on the showcase page, only one of which is working. So we still need a fix for the theme showcase. @MaggieCabrera is this something that would be handled by the theme team or should it be reported in Calypso?

I think this is a Calypso thing. I tried to find out where this was coming from and I wasn't successful!
