Classic themes: separator block - color changes do not show in editor

Steps to reproduce

1. Add separator block to a new page or post.
2. Change the background color in the block settings.

What you expected to happen

The separator block appears in the correct color in the editor.

What actually happened

The separator remains light grey in the editor and is only displayed in the selected color when previewed or viewed on the live site.

• I could replicate this with all the classic themes I tested this with, but block themes and FSE themes appear to be ok.
• On self-hosted, I could replicate with 2017, but not with Canape for example. Some themes displayed no color at all when testing(2019).
