Karuna theme: reblogs show as simple links on post lists

Steps to reproduce

1. Reblog a post and publish it on your simple site that shows the full content of a post on the blog page
2. Visit your blog page and notice how you can see the pretty link with the featured image
3. Now change the theme to Karuna
4. Noice how it is now just a link

• Was not able to repro. Both when I reblogged while on TT3 and then switched themes, and when I reblogged a post with Karuna active, the card loaded as expected. Take a look:

• Hey @filipanoscampos ! I wasn't able to identify any problems with reblogging stemming from Karuna. The post that you reblogged - I noticed there's no Reblog button on that site - what steps did you follow to reblog that post? I wonder if something specific to that site has changed?
• If you get a moment, could you try reblogging other test posts on your site with Karuna active, to see if you encounter different results?

@filipanoscampos shared more details directly with me, but so far I'm still unable to replicate. On a test site with Karuna active, I've embedded 3 posts from WordPress.org as well as the site linked above, and all of them show the card on both the single post and on the homepage.

Other Tests Run

I did try switching themes on @filipanoscampos 's test site, Blog ID 198614303, where she was able to replicate the issue. When I switched to Twenty Twenty & Twenty Fifteen, the embed card appeared on the posts page, whereas in Karuna, only the link appears.

This is the first I've heard of the issue.

Since on the example site this is only happening in Karuna, I'll transfer back to the themes repo for further investigation.
