If it's a pre-exisiting Stripe account
This doesn't help with the immediate issue, but it would be preferable if Stripe "simply" didn't flag this situation in the first place. It's arguably irrelevant that a merchant has a Stripe account when signing up for WooCommerce Payments.
💯 @jrodger -- I'd love it if we don't even need to reference Stripe anywhere. That said, we now have this specific challenge.

Description
I'm not even sure if we have any access to that side, but it's going to likely become increasingly challenging to clarify to merchants how this works.
Problem: When Stripe gives an error that the account already exists, merchants are confused if this is their Stripe account and not a WC Pay account. Example of that here: p1635160319253700-slack-C3NCP7ZJ6 cc @stuartduff
