WooPayments Onboarding: Proposal to improve Country field. #9413

Description

Considering it is not possible to change the country associated with an account, we can educate merchants instead to reduce confusion and mistakes during onboarding.

Current Flow:

Acceptance criteria

  1. Add a notice that the country cannot be changed once onboarding is complete.
  2. Make the country field a drop-down → similar to the one below it.

@timmy5685 @orcunomattic Could you take a look at this request and how we want this to look/feel? Asking because in the past we had the country selection as a simple dropdown, which this request is proposing we move back to. 🙂 Thanks!

The idea is to make the country field stand out, with a notice that it can't be changed. Please feel free to make the design decisions based on what works best :)
