Perhaps a good starting point to begin the design process, @folletto found some previous work begun by @MichaelArestad on followers for this:
You should also take a look at the bulk editing in the plugins view of one of your JP sites within Calypso.

Project update: this is in progress with Delta teams (Link + Tanooki). @mattsherman Can you add an update once you've started on it? Maybe with mockups or a general game plan?
@lancewillett I have assigned myself to this issue to make it clear that is is in progress by @Automattic/tanooki. I will also update with links to PRs and mockups as they are available.

Just adding a 👍 to the idea of bulk editing/multiple selection in Calypso. It's a pretty big missing bit of functionality that never made it over from wp-admin. I noticed how difficult it is to delete multiple posts at a time, not just because of the lack of multi-select but also because of the way multiple notices stack up and interfere with the •••
button that opens the contextual menu. Here's a video of what I experienced: https://cloudup.com/illc4Wcl8oE

Flagging this for consideration by Manage focus. With Nav Unification keeping more folks within Calypso screens - this seems even more important.
Just for context (and mostly some existing design work), bulk editing of posts was partially implemented in #18761 before the team was re-assigned. It was just removed in #45210. See: p8F9tW-fx-p2
Filippo also mocked up some updated bulk editing designs for the Purchases Management project. See: pbOQVh-oS-p2

It would be great to get a pattern that can be used throughout bulk deleting and editing, then get that functionality in Calypso. Users want this and even in my own testing, it's something time and time I wish existed and we do not have.
