Gallery/Image Blocks: Option to enable or disable comments #36225

Steps to reproduce

  1. The user added a Gallery Block, and wanted to disable comments on images in the gallery that would otherwise appear.
  2. Comments can be disabled on a per image basis in WP Admin, but disabling comments for the host post or page doesn't affect comments for the images contained in the post or page.

What I expected

The user requested an option to disable comments on images contained in a Gallery block as a block preference. The same option would probably be helpful for Image blocks too.

What happened instead

Comments need to be disabled in WP Admin for each image in the gallery.
