Editor: YouTube embed flashes in iOS Safari & Chrome #41292

Steps to reproduce

  1. In iPad or mobile, log in to your WordPress.com site using Safari and/or Chrome
  2. Open a page or post (new, or draft, or already published)
  3. Insert a YouTube video link
  4. Click Save, or Preview or Publish

What I expected

The video will display correctly in the editor, preview and published post or page.

What happened instead

The video flashed in the editor only.

Browser / OS version

Safari 13 and Chrome 80.

Another report on 20350604-hc but with VideoPress instead of YouTube.

Browser: Safari 13.0 on iPad.
