Typography: Consider removing Noto Serif #44970

Our current docs suggest that user content should use a special typeface (Noto Serif), while UI should use the system font:

We mostly use Noto Serif with weights of 400 or greater in reading and writing contexts, like the Reader. Use your best judgment when using Noto Serif for a UI element. Does it add valuable context for the person using our products?

Does this extra typeface provide value to the reader (or to the Reader :))?

Right now, we mostly use Noto Serif in the Reader, but it's also visible on page and post listings, and probably a few other places:
