Registrationless Checkout: Close event not being recorded properly

Steps to reproduce

Type localStorage.debug='calypso:analytics:tracks' in your browser dev console.
Follow test instructions of #44206 to get to the logged out checkout page.
Press the (x) on the logged out checkout page.
The calypso_masterbar_close_clicked doesn't get recorded because a redirect is executed before that.

What I expected

To get the event recorded properly.

What happened instead

Got redirected before the event could be recorded.
