TEDTalks Block Does Not Load Video #50139

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Visit https://www.ted.com/talks/tasha_eurich_increase_your_self_awareness_with_one_simple_fix, click Share, then copy the link
  2. Go back to your WordPress.com site and open a new page or post.
  3. Search and add the TED block
  4. Place the link you copied into the TED Block

What I expected to happen

For the TED Talk video to load

What actually happened

A black screen with the word "loading" appears. Video never loads

Does this happen on simple or atomic sites or both?

Yes

The good news is there's a workaround by using the TED Talk's link from YouTube. However, the TEDTalks Block should accept the link directly from the TED website.
