Account Settings: Primary Site not saving in the drop-down list only for accounts of a12s #56422

Quick summary

For an a11n WordPress.com account, the drop-down list in My Profile (top right corner) → Account Settings → Primary Site is always empty. If however, you visit https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs you can see which site is the primary one.

Steps to reproduce

  1. For an a11n WordPress.com account, navigate to https://wordpress.com/me/account
  2. Try and set the Primary Site in the drop-down list
  3. Save changes

What you expected to happen

See the selected site stay selected in the drop-down list

What actually happened

The drop-down list appears empty

I'm not able to replicate this on my end. Can you check if this is still an issue on your end @zdenys ?

I can change my primary site with that dropdown. I don't see the empty drop-down when I save my settings.

I experienced this problem before, but at the moment is saving my settings. I'll keep an eye in case it returns.
