2 years ago @NoHopeRadio When you mean Dropdown, do you mean a bulletpoint list?
I don't see an option to display links as dropdown menu with the legacy widget.

2 years ago Hmm, I was looking at a user's site when I opened this as a feature request and saw it there, but now as I'm searching for evidence of this feature somewhere, I'm not finding it. I see it for similar sorts of blocks like the Categories Widget but on our support page, this functionality is not mentioned for the navigation widget either.
I'll have a look and see if I can find the ticket that prompted me to make this request and take a closer look at that site and what's going on there.

2 years ago Okay yes, on this particular site there's a particular "Navigation Menu as Dropdown" legacy widget that is from a plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/navigation-menu-as-dropdown-widget/
I suppose this should be moved back to a feature request rather than a bug, now that this is clarifed.

An option to display links as a dropdown menu in the Navigation Block
Why
This was an option in the navigation widget, and is an option in similar blocks (categories block, for instance). It seems like an oversight that it is not an available option currently.
