WordPress.com Contact Form: Add ability to upload images #65714

What

The user wants the WPcom contact form: https://wordpress.com/help/contact to have image uploading functionality.

Right now, users are not able to attach images and have to wait to reply via email to attach screenshots. We could ask users to share image links on the contact form, but there are no instructions/suggestions to use free image hosting services to share screenshots.

Why

want that you, Wordpress.com, add the capability to attach a screenshot, or any image, when users need to contact Wordpress.com support. This is good because then we may explain our issues more clearly, thus benefiting both Wordpress staff as well as its users.

At the very minimum, the information about the free image hosting services should be included on that contact form, with the instruction that one then can add the link in the message text. However, this, of course, makes the "Contact Us" form much less clean, so it has that disadvantage.

How

No response

As this form also can go straight to chat, I guess we need the 'add attachments to chat' project to finish first.
