This experiment on the stepper framework is currently running pbxNRc-4bM-p2. The project thread is here pdDR7T-1BF-p2

Assuming this experiment is successful, we will convert the signup framework to stepper only framework.

This issue is more a placeholder and communication as the work is already in progress by @Automattic/vertex
