Ideas and feature requests on improving the Blaze Ads experience from the site owners' perspective.
Why
To improve the site owner's experience in running ads.
How
Hello! We recently ran some Blaze ads for a partner of ours, and I thought there were some opportunities to improve the user experience.
1. Placement of the Ads.
In the screenshot below, WooCommerce is installed on the site, which creates a tab called Marketing. As a site owner, I'd expect the advertising tools to live under the Marketing tab. I understand the tabs come from different plugins, but just think the site owner would expect this there.
2. Paying for the Ads
There are a few ideas I have for the payments.
It would be nice to have an option where we don't need a card, so if there are no credits, the ad stops running, and the site owner is notified via email.
I'd also like to see under the Payment heading if the campaign is paid by credits. As currently it still shows the Payment being by card, even if it's by credits.
3. Interests
It would be great if you could search for interests and not only scroll through them.
OpenAI suggested the following labels for this issue:
[Feature Group] A8C Marketing & Sales: The issue is about improving the experience related to Blaze Ads, which falls under marketing and sales operations for site owners.
[Feature] Ad Management & Revenue: The request focuses on enhancing the functionalities related to ad placement and management to improve site owners' experiences.
[Feature] Blaze on WordPress.com: The topic directly deals with improving the experience of users running Blaze ads, making this label particularly relevant.
[Feature] User Payments & Donations: The suggestion includes changes to the payment processes for ads, highlighting concerns about user payments and financial management.
