CLDR has in draft a detailed set of text annotations for emoji and is planning to add more to CLDR 29 out in March 2016 e.g. http://www.unicode.org/cldr/charts/28/annotations/cjk.html

I don't see these in the JSON distributions yet though but once they are we should implement those.

These are just provisional in CLDR now and won't be supported for a while so closing for now.
