This is the e2e-side of changes corresponding to https://github.com/Automattic/wp-calypso/pull/30407/.

@Automattic/flowpatrol Sorry, I've gone ahead and merged this because I merged the calypso side https://github.com/Automattic/wp-calypso/pull/30407 and was ignorant enough to not noticing that this PR wasn't even tagged for reviewers :(

If there is any problem with the code, please let me know and I'm happy to fix them.
