Hey @DanMan002 , nice work so far. When you have a working simulation with the new map(s), please mark this PR ready for review so @gfaout and any of the other vets can take a look at your final product.

Also note: I just rebased this branch off of the new issue-20-local-planner branch so the commit history matches that in master.
