I don't get the scope of this PR. Is it part of the repository refactoring? If yes, we should not merge it before the 2.3 is released. Otherwise, I believe it s good to go.

It is part of the repository refactoring. But the main purpose is just to test that everything is running, including the SQL repo. So, it doesn't matter if we merge it now or after 2.3 since it's just end-to-end testing to make sure things ARE working :D
