Unfortunately this is a problem with the upstream ItemsRepeater. I reported it in Jan but there's been no movement on it since then https://github.com/microsoft/microsoft-ui-xaml/issues/1829

I diagnosed the problem as you can see in that thread, but I'm unsure of what the correct fix should be.

I just replied again in the microsoft ui thread. Its open for over 12 month now there 😒 I have really complicated lists in the application I am planning to develop and hardly need a working ItemsRepeater for performance reasons.
