Upgrade from Win 10 to 11 doesn't continue after restart #264

Good day to everyone out there,

I was wondering if someone can help me. I have been able to use this tool out of one of my two identical PC's where the one completed successfully with no issues and the other just restarts for the initial installation of Windows but when it restarts its just back to Windows 10. It doesn't show a failed message or anything. It's like the tool never started. The tool is still on my desktop and can restart it but when it goes to the full blue screen when installing it completes to the restart point and then nothing? Any ideas?

Thanks Krynauw

My biggest issue is no matter what you do you can’t get this to load properly with beta builds and such .. On May 6, 2023, at 7:30 AM, KrynauwK @.***> wrote: Good day to everyone out there, I was wondering if someone can help me. Small update, sometimes you might be lucky like me. I had another laptop that failed twice in the same way but the 3rd time it passed and I did nothing differently.

Interesting fact as upgrade z 10 on 11 and turned download updates and drivers all go good with using pendrive made in rufus. Some idea? Microsoft started block somethingh or Windows 11 22h2 what go in moment 3 have bugs?

I thought the whole purpose of this MediaCreationTool was to enable/allow bypass of the TPM2.0 nonsense ?

Purpose of MediaCreationTool is only create default iso of choosed version of the Windows, for bypass system requirements you need to do it by yourself

Well, I found this statement posted on the forum, in a section named: Universal MediaCreationTool wrapper script - create Windows 11 media with automatic bypass

You can use MediaCreationTool.bat above to upgrade or create iso or usb with built-in TPM bypass,
or you can use [stand-alone scripts to bypass TPM](https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-11-setup-tpm-bypass-the-many-ways.84063/) on your already downloaded / made iso or usb, or even bypass TPM on windows update.
nondetect commented 1 year ago

My statement "to do it by yourself" it's not mean script can't do that, but you need choose specific "launch option" to make iso/usb_drive with build in bypass

Well, there is a difference between eating the food and making it.
