Merchy - An integrated merchandise platform

Purchase merchandise on the go

Purpose :

Merchy's objectives is to give the Aventuser the opportunity to buy, or at least pre-order, merchandise that is being sold at an event.

Problem and solution :

Nowadays, everybody who goes to an event, whether it is a concert or the theatre, generally brings his smartphone but this can't be said for payment solutions.

Merchy's could be a solution for the Aventuser craving for merch but not carrying payment solutions because he could loose them or just by simple oversight. Another concrete case would be, social influencers, such as youtubers, Merchy could be a way for them to know how much merchandise to bring because of the pre-orders they got.

The way it would work :

As Aventusers buy their ticket to an event, or get a "free" ticket in case of a meetup ( This is a pure idea as I think that this would actually cost at least the fee of a blockchain transaction), some merchandise is proposed and they would have the choice to order it, paying it in AVT with their smartphone. Finally at the event, while their ticket is being scanned, in case of a merch order, they are redirected to the seller who will just have hand them the good.

Value and monetization :

Here the value is for the organiser, bringing his products more visibility and therefore more potential sales. However, there could be an incentive for the Aventuser to purchase his merch trough merchy with for example discounts applied.

The app would generate revenue thanks to fees for each transactions or/and the listing of an item on the Merchy platform. Merchy could help bring Aventus more users as this would be another way for social influencers to sell their items.
