[1.20.1] Cheating in items in creative mode with a set stack size will automatically pull the item at 2B #1

See title. When doing so, after a few seconds the item will disappear like a ghost item. My config is currently set to 999, which is the stack limit and is functional, it's only an issue when cheating in items in the creative tab.

I can't seem to replicate this issue. Can you give me more information on what you did?

I tried replicating it again, but now it seems to not work at all? I'm going to need a bit to test configs and such. Items cheated in via EMI go to the correct amount, but from the creative menu, are now limited to just 64, and those cheated items will not stack with each other.
