idaapi.get_segm_name() has an issue #72

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. import idaapi
2. idaapi.get_segm_by_name(idaapi.get_segm_name(idaapi.getnseg(1)))

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
a segment_t object SHOULD be returned but isn't

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
IDAPython v1.5.0 final on win7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
get_segm_name() seems to replace the first "." with a "_" for some reason

apparently there is a get_true_segm_name() that does the right thing, but
get_segm_by_name() never works for me
