My pattern library represents many components and variations. Although I have many patterns I could definitely add more. All of my patterns have clear and concise descriptions that someone else could easily follow. If the class hadn’t been moved online another person in the class would have been able to jump in and code a new page easily. I don’t think another classmate would have any questions or problems coding a page using my pattern library. There are no missing or incomplete components to my website. The only thing that could be considered missing would be any patterns that I didn’t code but could have been added, for example, a search bar.

I found this process enjoyable, this has been my favourite web dev course so far. I enjoyed the process of making the patterns and then being able to put them into the HTML pages and easily change the variables. I never released that pattern libraries are a thing but it makes a lot of sense and is much easier than copying and pasting everything. I also enjoyed having the freedom to create my own branding and style the website however I wanted. The coding was fairly easy I only ran into a handful of problems that I needed help with. Not having Markbot forced me to think more about the code I was writing and what the proper semantics were. I fear that without Markbot I may have forgotten some things. Overall, I enjoyed this project and learned a lot throughout the process.

Style & design 3 My whole pattern library is cohesive and all designs reflect the brand.

Patterns 2 I have lots of patterns but I feel like I could add more.

Explanations 3 My explanations are clear and easy for another person to understand.

Accessibility 2 My website has some accessibility but could have more.

Semantics 3 I correctly used different HTML tags

Responsiveness 3 My site is responsive and looks good on all screen sizes.

Code quality 2 My indentation is great, semantics and accessibility are good.

Git & commits 3 My commit messages accurately state the changes.

21/24 - 87%

I deserve this grade because I put a lot of effort into building the pattern library and my website. I overcame obstacles and learned many things along the way. I have some room for improvement however, I am proud of the website I made this term and enjoyed the process.
