Hi,

Is there any test framework using which the gptp is tested, to check if it conforms with the Avnu specifications? https://avnu.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/gPTP_TestPlan_Public_Summary.pdf

It has been run against the official Avnu test suite in the past, but it has been a while since it's been done and the results have been shared with the development team as a whole. Some contributors or users may have run it more recently; I'm well out of the loop now.

Thanks @pinealservo As per my understanding Avnu test suite uses Spirent solution which is a hardware based solution. Are you aware of any other testfamework (mostly opensource) which can be used to test for the Avnu standard conformance.

When I used it, there were some special NICs involved, but otherwise the test suite ran on normal PCs. As far as I know, the official test suite and certification process are currently the only way to test for conformance with Avnu specification. An open source test framework with full test suites for the Avnu protocols would be really nice to have, but it's a tremendous amount of work to create and maintain such a thing.
