The options menu doesn't allow you to edit the cue macros exactly as described. Either the steps need to push the user through the Cue Options sub menu or they need to be altered to use playback view. Steps below. If you replaced 1-3 with "open the cue list in playback view" the steps would be correct.
Press OPTIONS (or the Options softkey on the root menu).
Press the Select button for the cue list.
Select Macros.
In the Playback View window, select the step you want to add a macro to.
Press the button(s) for the macro(s) you want to attach to the step, or press Add and choose an action from the list.
The "Macros" column shows the macros you have added.
