As part of adding the new Layout handle type and "Layout View" window, the pre-existing window for groups has been renamed from "Layout Editor" to "Group Layout Editor". It would be sensible to update the sections of the manual referring to this to match. I think where possible if such sections can include the word group as in "group layout" or "layout of the group" it might help to avoid confusion. Alternatively using a synonym for "layout" such as "position" or "2D position" and avoid using the former where possible.
