Yinglets get a hair and skin colour genes on spawn by default, those same genes prevent colours from being editable by enforcing their values. I have managed to disable a skin gene, but disabling a hair gene is dangerous because if a pawn gets a new gene while having it blacklisted, game's UI goes to shit. Skin genes are less affected by this because they are separated into two categories, one of which, the default one, is not even visible to the tampering player. Also - any changes to appearance only take effect on reload.
This should work, why is it not? Assuming XML, but may need deeper fixes
