On the app, twitter embeds are not honoring :nws: and spoiler tags. Opening the thread in safari does not result in the same behavior. For example, look in the joe biden thread in c-spam. One poster posts the daily updates from some twitterer about how biden will “nut” divide us.
When browsing on desktop or mobile safari, I can easily and gladly scroll past those without having to look at some dude’s doll in a grode jar. On the app, though, the embed dutifully loads the loads, and I’d rather not see them.
