Swipe from left screen edge to pop posts view is overly finicky #822

it feels like it needs to be a bit more specific than usual now, but it could just be me so unless others chime in, probably safe to ignore. — Stare-Out

I noticed this today as well. I’ve been hitting the back arrow icon because swipe right is too finicky

Swipe seems to register from the very edge of the screen, which is hard with a case that isn’t flush with the screen surface — Keith Atherton

Is it possible to make the swipe on the left of the screen to go back more accommodating? I find it much harder to trigger than in other apps. — theadder

Is there some way I can disable swipe-to-go-back? It seems overly sensitive, and often takes me out of a page without warning because my thumb just absently brushed the screen. I don't want to use this feature ever, the back button is enough for me. — Krazyface

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am newish to IOS and the IOS awful app: is there a specific rhyme or reason that swipe right to Go Back doesn’t work? If I open a thread from my bookmarks and want to go back to my bookmarks, sometimes the swipe right gesture works, but other times it seems to do nothing and I have to use the back button in the top left
