Odd small text rendering bug in posts

I’m on an iPhone SE 12.4 PB2 and occasionally get a weird text rendering bug that’s been happening for a few weeks. Nothing major and almost imperceptible. I skimmed a few pages and didn’t see anyone mention it.

I get this too from time to time on iPhone 6s+ 12.2. — Jigsaw

I have no idea if it’s related, but I’ve been seeing some odd text rendering just when the posts view first loads. Scrolling at all in any direction fixes it. It almost looks like it’s rendered at the wrong display scale, or it’s off the pixel grid, or something?

Ok this is a weird one.

I’m getting some weird text rendering issues on the iPad version.

It’s very subtle but the first line almost looks like it has a strike through. It’s made me do a double take a few times.

If I scroll up and then back the text is normal.

I haven’t seen it on the iPhone and it’s not super common on the iPad. — MarcusSA

I'm pretty sure that's a OS painting artifact rather than something that the app can control. — Subjunctive

Could be. Forgot to mention that it stays at the same place on the screen so I can scroll different words over it and see them deform — Krankenstyle

Anyone else have an issue where text looks italicized until you zoom in and out? Here’s an example:

i can't get it to look normal at all. even after fiddling with the text size and pinch zooming (not sure which of these you mean by zooming) that third line still looks busted for me — Lutha Mahtin
