Crash whenever rotating into portrait orientation #968

The app crashes every time I go into portrait mode, so whenever I tilt my phone a little too much it crashes.

I’m on a 8 plus with the latest update.

E- nm I reinstalled and it’s ok

E2- nope it’s back. Turn the phone and the app crashes — Snowy

I have the new scries runes iPhone 11 Pro Max and it has this issue but not every time. It seems like it’s more likely when it quickly switches to landscape and back. — Grassy Knowles

I have been crashing a lot on beta, I think related to orientation changes? I’ve sent most of them in, in case that’s helpful. — Subjunctive

Actually, for me, it’s whenever it goes landscape—if you open the app in that orientation it crashes immediately. — Grassy Knowles

I've been having crashing issues on my iPad with the production version lately with orientation shifting as well. Some attempts at reproduction later and it seems to be from auto-hiding the sidebar, which explains why it always happened when I'd try to read in portrait orientation.

Its been consistent since switching to an iPad Pro 11 for me, regardless of reinstalling. — Agile Vector
