Pixudi is a traditional board racing game built on blockchain technology.

This game was created to introduce blockchain technology to millions of WEB2 users around the world. Pixudi was made to introduce the blockchain technology to millions of WEB2 users around the world. Pixudi is an NFT based blockchain project where a traditional race board game meets Heroes of Magic mechanics. Our mission is to bring together all the best mechanics from traditional gaming and on-chain technologies so that the users from both of those worlds could play without noticing the shift from one to another. We aim to create the bridge between traditional board games and the emerging world of NFT games, thus bonding generations together.

Pixudi is a traditional race board game built on the blockchain technology. Players roll the dice and compete with each other to collect more treasures than others by overcoming obstacles and completing missions.

Each board has its unique scenario, mechanics, treasures and adventures. In Pixudi World, you can  earn by competing with others, play mini games, raise your pets, collect items and characters, improve your stats and trade!

Motivation

In order to scale the project and its development, as well as attract highly specialized specialists in the field of law / finance and marketing, we need additional funds to integrate your network. For more than 8 months, this project has been done at our own expense, since the project has a calculated commercial business model.

For  example holders of premium NFTs, the physical versions of the games will be released just like a regular board game. Users will be able to buy one of 10 sets with a unique map, character miniatures, sticker set and a coupon with a code to get the exact same set in the browser game. Thus, a strong connection is established between the real and virtual world of the NFT. The NEO ecosystem can be the best entry point into the world of the Board Game NFT industry and manufacturers in games for large masses of new audiences ready to switch their activities from traditional games. All processes that determine such processes as a dice roll and a player's move are implemented through smart contracts, which increases the trust and purposeful use of the blockchain as a decentralised process without the possibility of hacking.

All our development is carried out entirely in github, with support for versions and full commits. During development, the repositories are private. We will gladly provide access, both to check the implementation of the milestones, and to view the current stage of our development. Additionally, as part of the project management, we have KPIs that will be implemented and submitted for verification.

Our KAPCREW team was formed back in 2019, and since then we have worked on over 20 tech projects. In 2022, KAPCREW welcomed new people and advisors, adopting its current team.

We, as gamers ourselves, have always felt that there is a huge gap between traditional physical board games and online games that can be bridged. This is how the idea of Pixudi was born - after countless brainstorming sessions, we started making the game that we would love to play ourselves with our families and friends outside the blockchain industry. The game that will serve as a bridge from the real world to the virtual world of blockchain and NFT.

NFT evolution of Dragons on NEO

Regarding 'NFT evolution of Dragons on NEO,' this feature is an exciting addition to our game. With the help of smart contracts, players will have the opportunity to evolve their NFT Dragons. This means that as you progress in the game and collect various Dragons, you will be able to enhance and transform them into more powerful and unique creatures.

When players choose to evolve their NFT Dragons, the smart contract will execute the necessary steps, which may include combining or upgrading existing NFTs. The result is a more valuable and distinctive Dragon NFT that reflects the player's in-game achievements.

This feature not only adds depth and strategy to the game but also enhances the overall value of NFTs on the NEO blockchain. Players can look forward to exciting opportunities for customization and growth as they explore the world of Pixudi and evolve their Dragon companions.

Burn mechanics (NFT Evolution for Dragons)

Description of a mechanism where users can burn NFTs from the previous evolution in the context of a game on the NEO blockchain:

Objective: The objective of allowing users to burn NFTs from the previous evolution is to provide them with an incentive to continue evolving their NFTs and to introduce scarcity into the game by removing certain NFTs from circulation.

Implementation Steps:

  1. User Interaction: The user initiates the process by interacting with the game's interface or a smart contract on the NEO blockchain. They specify which NFTs they want to burn from the previous evolution.
  2. Validation: The smart contract validates the user's request to burn NFTs/send. It checks if the NFTs are indeed from the previous evolution and if the user owns them.
  3. Burning Process: If the validation is successful, the NFTs are "burned." Burning an NFT typically means that it is permanently removed from the user's wallet, and its data is erased from the blockchain. This process can be irreversible.
  4. Confirmation: The user receives a confirmation message that the NFTs have been successfully burned. This confirmation may include details such as the number of NFTs burned and any rewards earned as a result.
  5. Reward Distribution: To incentivize users to burn their NFTs, the smart contract may distribute rewards. These rewards can be in the form of new NFTs, in-game currency, or other game assets. The quantity and quality of rewards can vary based on the NFTs burned and the game's design.
  6. Scarcity and Evolution: By burning NFTs from the previous evolution, users contribute to the scarcity of those NFTs. This can make them more valuable over time. The burned NFTs also pave the way for further evolutions and upgrades, encouraging ongoing gameplay.
  7. Event Logging: All burning events are logged on the NEO blockchain for transparency and auditing. This ensures that users can verify the burning process.

By allowing users to burn NFTs from the previous evolution, we create a dynamic ecosystem where NFTs can change, evolve, and become more valuable over time. It also aligns with the concept of blockchain-based gaming, where in-game assets have real-world value and can be managed by the players themselves.

Special board for NEO

Creating a special game board dedicated to the NEO blockchain and its vibrant ecosystem projects is an exciting venture. Here's a concept for the game board and the thematic zones for each company:

Title: "NEO Nexus - The Ultimate Blockchain Quest"

Game Board Description: The NEO Nexus game board is a colorful and engaging representation of the NEO ecosystem. It's designed as a circular board divided into thematic zones, each dedicated to one of the prominent companies within the NEO ecosystem. Players navigate through these zones, collecting rewards, solving challenges, and embarking on exciting mini-games.

Thematic Zones:

  1. Neoline Node: A futuristic space-themed zone featuring Neoline's logo. Players encounter cosmic challenges and collect "Neoline Node Tokens" to advance.
  2. Axlabs Arena: An ancient arena filled with riddles and puzzles. Players need to solve these to win "Axlabs Artifacts" that enhance their journey.
  3. NeoFS Forest: A lush and enchanting forest setting. Players gather "NeoFS Fruits" to replenish their energy and continue the quest.
  4. Coz Coliseum: A Roman-style coliseum filled with epic challenges. Players compete in thrilling contests to win "Coz Laurels."
  5. Neo News Today Tower: A towering structure representing the latest news. Players collect "News Scrolls" that provide them with insights and advantages.
  6. NeoSPCC Citadel: A medieval fortress where players must decipher cryptic clues to earn "NeoSPCC Relics."
  7. Red4Sec Lab: A high-tech laboratory setting. Players acquire "Red4Sec Codes" to unlock hidden treasures.
  8. GhostMarket Bazaar: A bustling marketplace. Players trade "GhostMarket Gems" for valuable power-ups and items.

As players progress through these zones, they accumulate tokens, which serve as their score. The player with the most tokens at the end of the game emerges as the winner.

This game board not only pays homage to the NEO ecosystem but also provides an exciting and immersive experience for players, celebrating the innovation and creativity of these ecosystem companies.

Creating unique mini-games dedicated to NEO and its ecosystem companies for the game board is a fantastic way to engage NEO players. Here's a detailed description of mini-games for each project from NEO ecosystem and we would be glad for advice who can be included too:

  1. Neoline Node Challenge:
    • Objective: Players must navigate a spaceship through an asteroid field, collecting Neoline Nodes while avoiding collisions.
    • Gameplay: Use arrow keys to move the spaceship, collect as many nodes as possible. Each node collected adds to the player's score.
    • Reward: Neoline Node Tokens that can be used later in the game.
  2. Axlabs Arena Riddles:
    • Objective: Players must solve ancient riddles and puzzles within a time limit.
    • Gameplay: Answer riddles and solve puzzles by selecting correct options or arranging puzzle pieces.
    • Reward: Axlabs Artifacts that grant special abilities for future challenges.
  3. NeoFS Fruit Gathering:
    • Objective: Players explore the NeoFS Forest and collect as many NeoFS Fruits as possible.
    • Gameplay: Move through the forest, collecting fruits while avoiding obstacles like thorns and wildlife.
    • Reward: NeoFS Fruits that replenish energy or provide in-game advantages.
  4. Neo News Today Trivia:
    • Objective: Answer questions related to the NEO ecosystem and its developments.
    • Gameplay: Choose the correct answers from multiple choices within a time limit.

  5. NeoSPCC Codebreaker Challenge:

These mini-games not only offer entertainment but also provide players with rewards and resources to progress further in their journey across the NEO Nexus game board. We will gradually integrate these mini-games based on NEO, thereby the NEO board will be gradually updated

We are also planning to introduce an account abstraction feature. In addition to automatically creating a NEO account without the need for direct wallet ownership, our standout feature will be the inclusion of a SoulBound token for storing NEO user profiles.

At Pixudi, we're embarking on an exhilarating journey of full-scale integration with NeoFS, charting new horizons in data management. With NeoFS, we're not just storing data; we're crafting an immersive, secure, and seamless gaming experience that transcends traditional boundaries. Our innovative integration with NeoFS will seamlessly store our captivating mini-games in a secure and decentralized repository. We intend to take a straightforward game and store it within a repository.

Request

I also want to add that initially we applied for a grant with an amount of 4065 NEO, but since it was important that we prove how we can work, and not that we can simply request funds, we divided the grant into several parts.

But in the process, we not only began to form a monetization model for the project. Therefore, this request for 1355 NEO is final for the development and support of the project. By doing this we show that the project is strictly sustainable and that we never ask for what we won't need.

All the funds we are requesting will be allocated exclusively for development and enhancements within the NEO ecosystem. We are wholeheartedly committed to supporting NEO users to the fullest extent and endeavor to attract as many users as possible. Despite the multi-chain landscape, we consistently highlight the core advantages of NEO and have numerous plans for ecosystem development. Furthermore, building upon the mechanics already in place, we envision expanding the Pixudi universe within the NEO ecosystem.

Hello everyone! We kindly request your support for our application as we have reduced costs and streamlined our milestones to just 2 instead of 3.

We have a strong commitment to the NEO community, not only providing tutorials but also engaging through streams and content creation focused on NEO. We plan to release at least 2 tutorials specifically tailored for NEO and tournaments for NEO in spring.

I'd personally like to see this project continue to get GrantShares funding, especially since Alex has decreased the team's ask to a more manageable figure. Further, Pixudi is a project that has launched, has users, and is releasing educational information about the Neo ecosystem. This is exactly the project and team we should strive to keep around.

I am a bit disheartened to see zero interaction with a previous GrantShares recipient, and I think we can do better as a voting community to engage with builders creating products and attracting users to their platform (and our ecosystem).

That said, @ddarkwing, I think putting the proposal onchain for an immediate vote is a bit off-putting for GrantShares voting members. Basically, there's no opportunity for changes to the proposal to be made following any discourse. When a proposal is put onchain, GS members don't get to have a sense of input on what they're voting for. This might be why the previous submission didn't get an endorsement, and why there's been a lack of conversation about this proposal.

I'm curious to hear what other GrantShares members think, because Pixudi is a project we should do what we can to keep interested in sticking around.

The KAPCREW has been true to their promises so far, so I don't see a reason why we should not continue with this second grant. Especially the integration with NeoFS is very interesting to me and something that I'm in favor of supporting.

@ddarkwing We're having a problem, and that problem is that we still don't have a stable coin... NEO price went up considerably and so did the requested grant size. I think that is going to be an issue in voting. The only two options right now are, either reduce the requested amount according to the change in NEO price, or wait to see if the situation calms down and the price cools down. If you are willing to reduce the requested amount, i'm willing to endorse the proposal right after the change.

@csmuller So, when we initially received the first grant, the price at that time was about $3 lower. However, we opted for tokens because we value the blockchain ethos and aim to grow alongside the community. I hope everyone can understand our perspective. Nonetheless, we're willing to reduce the cost and adjust accordingly to proceed with the endorsement right away.

I actually view the request for tokens quite positively, as it signifies confidence in NEO project. So even if the exchange rate dipped slightly at the time we received the grant last time, it wasn't necessarily a negative for us.
