@piergin why did you create a new proposal, instead of editing the other one in https://grantshares.io/app/details/738656940a1de3619a1126d06014501a ?

piergin commented 1 year ago

Because I didn't receive answers anymore.

@piergin can you please withdraw your last proposal, then?

Follow these steps, please:

Then, only the new proposal is valid and all the focus will come here.

@piergin since the first proposal, when I commented this, I can't understand what you're trying to achieve.

My more specific questions are:

  1. Why Crew3 is a platform that would help us? What's their impact?
  2. Why should we invest in this? What's the gap you're trying to bridge?
  3. What's the expected return/outcome of this proposal in metrics (something that we can measure)?

Can you please clarify?

  1. Why Crew3 is a platform that would help us? What's their impact? Crew3 is a platform that can help Neo to grow and bring people from Twitter, Instagram and other social media. It's very easy to use and can allow people to create content and being rewarded for doing so. Airdrops, testnets and quests are one of the main reason why people are on Twitter and for what I'm seeing they share original content if they will be rewarded BUT, of course just if the content will be approved by us. Organic marketing.
  2. Why should we invest in this? What's the gap you're trying to bridge? For what I can see Neo has the tech and it could be one of the best out there but it lacks people engagement and contents. Very few people share Neo's tweets and this is not good because there is no engagement from people. Crew3 can allow to bring people to this project and help it. I'm trying to increase the participation in NEO blockchain with this tool.
  3. What's the expected return/outcome of this proposal in metrics (something that we can measure)? We can proceed with testing it and evaluate it, for what I saw in other projects the amount of active people has increased and not just a bit. Couple of months of hard work will bring people for sure but we need to start as soon as we can because other projects are a bit ahead.

Hope that now is clear, let me know.

☝️ about this: yes, sure, I understand the idea.

Crew3 can allow to bring people to this project and help it. I'm trying to increase the participation in NEO blockchain with this tool. [...] We can proceed with testing it and evaluate it, for what I saw in other projects the amount of active people has increased and not just a bit. Couple of months of hard work will bring people for sure but we need to start as soon as we can because other projects are a bit ahead.

☝️ about this: do you have any traction number from other spaces? Like, how many people engaged in other spaces/projects since they started, and any metrics?! Maybe, can you approach someone and ask?

Besides my questions above, why don't you edit the proposal and add these information? The proposal description is poor compared to other proposals we received.

I would suggest that you follow my previous advice and edit the proposal with more content, a better plan what you will do (specifically) with the money, etc.

At this stage, I think that the investment of 1000 GAS is a bit too high for, maybe, little return. I'm not exactly sure, but that's my gut feeling. Maybe because the proposal didn't provide much detail, is not polished enough, and also you didn't add any track record from past work.

Thanks 🙏 and looking forward to your comments.

Maybe some other people from the community can give their opinions here.

I am aligned with @gsmachado. My confidence on the ability of the proposal to deliver is very much influenced by the detail and specificity of the proposal itself. You really should endeavor to preempt the types of questions that the GrantShares voting members will ask and try to provide that information upfront. The fact that the proposal didn't even describe what Crew3 was and that there is no clear metrics / goals for the endeavor gives me the impression that there isn't really a plan here other than to use Crew3.

Every time a proposal is funded through GrantShares we all take a leap of faith. As a proposer, it's up to you to make the leap manageable by giving us some degree of confidence on where we are going to land. I encourage you to reevaluate your proposal come back with a much clearer plan, with actionable items, schedules, budget breakdown, etc, and anything else that would help understand your ability to create missions, quizzes, Medium articles etc.

Just by being here you've already taken the first step to doing something constructive for the Neo community, so don't be disheartened. I think we all want to see initiatives like the one you are describing, but as it stands we just do not have a clear picture of how you intend to action it.
