The distance between platforms should be bigger. NOTE: this may be solved by making the jumpspeed smaller. The FEEL should be right. Very arbitrary. This issue may be solved by screaming "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL MOM! and stomping loudly towards your room.
