:before/:after content image not affected by typographical styles #199

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a :before or :after pseudo-element.
2. Pull in an image through the "content" property.
3. Apply any of the following styles: text-indent, text-align, direction.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The image should be affected by the styles applied above, however nothing
happens.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
IE8.js 2.0b3 on IE7, Vista.

Please provide any additional information below.

Can you provide a test page please? That seems like the expected behaviour.

No, this is not the default behaviour. Also, I don't appreciate that you've
marked
the bug report as invalid before I've had the time to respond (and after only
two
hours at that).

Either way, take a look at this: http://nova-group.se/test/rounded/

I'll happily re-open issues if they have test cases. Marking them invalid makes
it
easier for me to filter out bug reports that I can't act on.

Now that you've provided a test page I can look into it.
