Option to Fully Hide Archived Task Lists from Main Homepage #150

Description:

I often need to add tasks without specific deadlines or other specifications, mainly to ensure I don't forget them. However, these add tasks clutter the main task panel on the home page module and distract me from focusing on the specific tasks I want to prioritize.

Current Behavior:

When a task list is archived in the task list bar, it only hides from that menu and page but remains visible elsewhere in the homepage task module.

Suggested Improvement:

It would be beneficial to have an option to completely hide a task list and the subtask on the list from the task manager module on the main homepage. This way, archived tasks and lists won't interfere with the primary tasks I need to focus on.

Please provide the following information:

For recurring tasks, you can freeze them before putting them into an archive list.

For non-repeating tasks, they should less likely be visible on other pages. Please provide more detailed information so we can locate you.

In addition to this, we are also improving archiving and freezing so that they work more as expected.

Please provide the following information:

  • Specifically what tasks are visible where, it is best to provide an example.

I'm not sure if my issue is a bug or an enhancement request.

Please refer to the attached screenshot for clarification on the terms I used.

To explain briefly: I have several task lists grouped accordingly in my task module. For instance, if I archive a task list group named "Professional Upskilling" in the task bar settings, it only gets hidden in the task bar settings section, not in the task module bar. My concern is that I don't understand why the archived lists are only hidden in the task list settings tab and not in the task module.

The option to hide task groups in the task module is very important because I want to see only the high-priority tasks I am focusing on. If this enhancement were available, it would allow me to customize what is visible in the task module. Screenshot_20240602_144251_LifeUp Pro Screenshot_20240602_143214_LifeUp Pro
