Hello, thank you for your issue and scene description!
Here are some concepts that may need to be explained first:
The first end date refers to the end time of the current cycle (that is, the end date of the first cycle). Instead of representing the total end period of the task (the date on which the repetition ends).
LifeUp currently supports the "Repeat Target Times." After reaching the number of repetitions, the task will end automatically. However, specifying a recurring end date is not supported.
Going back to the scenario you describe, there are some solutions available:
You can do it as a regular weekly task and note the recurring end date, due means end. Or use achievements to track how many times it's done.
Or set 20 as the target number of repetitions.
Make it a big non-repeating task of up to 5 months. Set each of its actions as a subtask or counting task type.
As the developer of LifeUp, we will launch solutions in the future:
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A feature to add monthly due time but with weekly options
Describe the solution you'd like for example. I need to go to a place every week, in 5months span. So i can mark every week that ive gone to that place, but its only fully completed when ive been there 20 times in span of 5 months.
Describe alternatives you've considered monthly due date but frequency of weekly tasks
