Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I'm always frustrated when I see tasks list.

Describe the solution you'd like I think it would be better to redesign app, new colours new view on it. I recommend you to watch on your competitors todoist, focus to do, habitica. It really looks more beautifully. More minimalistic and clear for me. Maybe new colours (for ex. neon colours) and tasks without boards will be better.

Describe alternatives you've considered It may be a new theme in app.

Additional context I really like your app, thank you for it! Don't be rude about my opinion, I know that you have done a lot!

Btw dark theme and compact mode isn't such good as in same task managers.

Hello, thanks for your feedback!

The overall UI is highly subjective (everyone will have different ideas and suggestions for improvements).

For LifeUp, we wanted to avoid the UI design distractions of similar apps. And due to the different positioning and focus between applications, it is also suitable for different design styles.

Of course, we will also try to continue to improve the UI of LifeUp (for example, we will introduce complete Material 3 support in the next version, and we will also improve some animation effects). Things like adding new colors, new task lists are all possible.

We need to refer to some suggestions for improvement rather than opinion.

At the same time, we will try to avoid large-scale UI changes to the main interface. We've seen too many cases where breaking changes hurt core users due to preconceptions and adaptability.

And with the improvement of APIs, custom UI is also entirely possible. Desktop is a simple example. Although it is not yet complete, we will also push to improve the APIs.
