Ah yes, I will. but my fix on launchpad actually disabled that two tests. I had a hunch it is because of some other glib regression. They broke a stable api thrice now, between glib 2.56 & 2.58 :(
I am closing this, since it is no longer a problem. The other issue still very much is.

It's the vanishing type. I'll post some details on #1, that one is a mess.
Integration tests are failing due to gicon regression in glib >= 2.58 This is same bug as Ubuntu's indicator-sound.
