Make "main" the new default branch. #72

This repo has both a main and a master branch. The main branch is outdated and the master branch is default. It would be great to update the main branch, make it default and delete the master branch to reduce confusion and to align with other repos (such as ayatana-ido).

We really ought to do this. The complete Ayatana stack is on main, this being the only exception.
