gedit hangs while large search is in progress #118

I'm running Advanced Find in gedit 3.8.1 on Ubuntu 13.10.

To see the problem, perform a search through a large directory tree containing 
thousands of files.  While the search is in progress, the gedit window will 
turn dark and gedit will not respond to commands.  Instead, gedit should be 
normally responsive while a search is in progress.

There's nothing I can do for this.
Be patient if you want the plugin to do a heavy work.
Or you can reduce the searching scope if you don't want to wait.
