Hmm, stabilized rifts eat flux very fast and don't need anything beside a stabilizer to work...
But a if I don't want a Rift to happen, because you can never know where it would place...
If you don't want to use a mechanic which allows automatic flux removal, you could always add a recipe with crafttweaker for the filters yourself, or activate wuss mode...
I am making a Modpack, but my Question now is, why would you make a Flux Condenser, when a Rift would automate it automatically
You don't get vitium essentia from a rift...
Is that the only good thing about it ?
And also is it somehow possible to decide where the Rift is going, and also how much stabilizers do i Need ?

I guess producing vitium and removing flux from the aura (even if you've to manually craft the filters...) is enough or what else do you want it todo?

I heard the RFTools builder can move it, don't think there's any way to move them within TC itself...

I use 2 on my server since a month to stabilize the same rift but I guess 1 is enough...
I mean if you can remove Flux on a much faster and less expensive way, then why would you want to make the FLux Condenser besides Vitium Essence, which also isn't that hard to get, since Nether wards have this aspect in them.
It's an alternative way to handle flux, both ways have advantages and disadvantages. Rifts
Condensers
Rifts are more dangerous to handle, so it's fair to make them superior to the condensers imo...
You say rifts can explode if no Flux is in the Area, do you mean when no Stabilizer is there or it wont explode when there is a Stabilizer.
I think I never tested it with stabilized rifts, but if no flux is in the aura every rift has a chance to explode and drop void seeds/primordial nodes, this could take a very long time (had one which exploded after 7 real life days in a chunkloaded area, but also had some which only needed 1 or 2 hours...) Normally I use a dioptra, a comparator, some redstone and a open crate from botania (I guess a dispenser would also work) to feed a crucible to slowly create flux for the rift to eat...
TC5 was a mod in which automation was impossible. With the new additions to flux and taint (the latter of which you never have to see now), automation is very possible if you are willing to take certain risks.
thaumic energistics makes crafting automatable. Does placing filters work with anything? quark tweaked dispensers? block breakers and placers?
So the Issue is pretty easy. You can automate everything ore production related in thaumcraft itself. The only Problem is when you want to use the Arcane Furnace because this one would generate Flux, which is also automatable to remove with golems. The only Problem is, that you're not able to automatically craft Filters
