Taint seeds not spawning from rift #1587

I've dumped 10s of thousands of essentia into the atmosphere and got a sizable rift and I don't see anything taint related spawning. All I've seen is a couple poison clouds and the debuff. I am using the most recent Revelations pack with pretty much default settings on everything. I need taint to progress in Alchemy and nothing is spawning from these rifts. I've destroyed them, sponged the flux, moved to a new location, and started over. No dice.

As i recall you need to wait for the rifts to pop which will then spawn a taint seed it takes a while for the rifts to pop though
