Stoneblock 2 no void rift spawning #1632

I've been playing the modpack Stoneblock 2 for the past 3 days and I've come to the point where I am trying to summon a rift (so I can complete 'Let the Flux build). However, no matter how much Flux I create, the rift won't spawn. I have not claimed chunks. I have put WussMode on False. I've tried depleting every single bit of Vis from the area so only Flux remains. I've tried going to different chunks. I've tried going to Y 250 and create a rift there, no success. Any idea how I can get Rifts to spawn in this modpack?

No rifts in SB2, have to unlock "Crimson Rites" and once crafted will give you all the missing research you would normally get from rifts.
