So, this spell system is by far the best. However, let's make it 100,00 Times Better!
Suggestion 1- No "Spell Bats", just spell entity's. Including, Bats, Witches, Skeletons, Pigs, Cos, and more! (Selectable with the arrows)
Suggestion 1-1- The witch might work in the way of targeting in any way you want. Therefore Allowing you to spawn in a witch to launch a bolt at enemies (Example) So, basically, uses any spell you want!
Suggestion 1-2- The skeleton might work by launching a projectile with effects.
Suggestion 1-3- The Wither Skeleton might work by firing a projectile, or hitting (like touch) (Selectable via arrows) The projectile will always set an enemy on fire, and the attack will always give a wither effect.
Suggestion 2- More Targeting- There's "friendly" and "non-friendly", but, what about: Passive, Aggressive, Player, Player (X), All, Loyal "Spell" Entity, Aggressive Spell "Entity"
Suggestion 2-1- Player is self explanatory, targets the player.
Suggestion 2-2- Hostile just targets all mobs that will attack you.
Suggestion 2-2-1- However, if a player attacks you then a timer starts. While that timers going, your "Spell Entity's " and "Arcane Mines" Will consider them both a "Hostile" And a "Player"
Suggestion 2-3 Passive targets animals like pigs and sheep
Suggestion 2-4- Player (X) Targets A specific player. Great for sending messages with say! (The entity will go to the correct dimension, and will search mercilessly for the target!)
Suggestion 2-5- "Al"l targets all but the caster.
Suggestion 2-6- Loyal Spell Entity targets your closest spell entity.
Suggestion 2-7 Hostile Spell Entity targets the closest spell entity that will harm you.
Suggestion 3- More Effects, Ideas include: Say, Loyalty Remove, Loyalty Add, Wither, Poison, Hostile Timer Increase, Hostile Timer Remove, Increase Health, Add Runic Shielding,
Suggestion 3-1- Say will send a message in chat to only the person hit (Player Only)
Suggestion 3-1-1- The message could be typed in when you start the spell, it will ask for a message to use.
Suggestion 3-2- Loyalty Remove will make the "Spell Entity" Attack Everything.
Suggestion 3-3- Loyalty Add will make a Loyalty Less "Spell Entity" Loyal to the caster!
Suggestion 3-4- Wither will, well, wither the opponent.
Suggestion 3-5- Poison will, well, poison the target.
Suggestion 3-6- Hostile Timer Increase will increase A Players Hostile Timer by (X) Amount
Suggestion 3-7- Hostile Timer Remove will remove All Hostile timers! (Great for when your teammate hits you instead of that zombie!)
Suggestion 3-8- Increase Base Health applies an (X) Increase to base health for (X) Time. Also Insta-Heals them to that point.
Suggestion 3-9- Add Runic shielding will add in (X) runic shielding that Won't Recharge
Suggestion 4-More Targets, Including, "Hovering Arcane Mine", and tracking projectile.
Suggestion 4-1- The Hovering Arcane Mine Is An Arcane Mine that won't fall.
Suggestion 4-2- The Tracking Projectile Will track, similar to the "Spell Entity". but ranged, and different in some way.
Suggestion 5- Effect Secondary Effects
Suggestion 5-1- Fire makes a spell entity with it immune to fire.
Suggestion 5-2 Other effects with that.
Suggestion 6 - Eldritch Foci- The single most powerful foci, but, maybe a little to powerful...
With a max complexity of A lot (What about 500?)
However, one example of it's infusion recipe goes as follows:
3 Greater Foci
3 Void Metal
2 Thaumium
2 Alchemical Brass
1 Triple Meat Treat
1 Gahst Tear
3 Nether Stars
Suggestion 7- Moders
Modders Are so different, they have their own issue!
However, These are just suggestions. Since it's your mod, it's your choice!
