I love how greatwood looks and I make enormous wizard towers with it. The problem is, without disabling fire spread, it is susceptible to complete destruction. Could you add some kind of ranged fire suppressor block? If not, is there a way to extinguish fire with the new foci crafting? (I haven't gotten far enough yet)

There is not, but there's a way to start fires. (: Good idea, though. Plus, if you have Xeno's Reliquary, the Salamader Eye is pretty good at putting out fire. Just be close to flames while holding the Eye... but that means you have to extenguish flames manually.
